Dirty Sexy Money

Dirty Sexy Money was a television series and soap opera that aired on ABC about Nick George (Peter Krause), a man whose father dies mysteriously, leaving Nick to take his place as family lawyer to the extremely affluent Darling family, Patrick "Tripp" III (Donald Sutherland), Letitia (Jill Clayburgh), Patrick IV (William Baldwin), Karen (Natalie Zea), Brian Sr. (Glenn Fitzgerald), Jeremy (seth Gabel), and Juliet (Samaire Armstrong). Because of his fathers position, Nick had lived his whole life in the shadow of the Darling family, ad has much of Manhattan, due to their position as an unfathomably rich and powerful family, although his affiliation runs even deeper, being the son of Devlin "Dutch George, and having dated (and at a young age, proposed to) Karen Darling. Meanwhile, he must balance his own family, wife Lisa (Zoe McLellan) and daughter Kiki (Darcy Byrnes), with the fact that he's been drawn into the Darling's sometimes-unsavory dealings. The Darling's biggest competitor is Simon Elder (Blair Underwood), the world's third-richest man, engaged in a continuous war with the family based on the history of his parents working for Tripp's father. Nick ultimately employs Simon's help as his priority is solving his father's murder, along with attorney Nola Lyons (Lucy Liu). Nick tries to keep the Darling family in check and keep them out of trouble as their lawyer while also investigating Dutch George's mysterious death. MORE
