Diners, Drive-ins and Dives

Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is an American food television series on Food Network, hosted by American cook, restaurateur, author, and TV personality Guy Fieri. In the series, Fieri travels around the United States of America sampling and critiquing local diners, drive-in restaurants, dive bars in the search for the best Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives in the nation. Each episode tends to have a theme, for example burgers or comfort food, and focuses on Fieri's visits to multiple casual eateries to sample the menu options that correspond with that particular episode's theme. Although the food chosen tends to be what is generally considered as non-gourmet food, Fieri finds places that prepare it using interesting gourmet techniques, fresh ingredients, and/or unexpected recipes. With Fieri's trademark sense of humor, notable appearance, and quote 'if it's funky, we'll find it,' Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is a staple in the diet of many Food Network viewers. Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives originally began as a one-off special, but was met by such success that it ended up running for 8 seasons, with a total of 103 episodes. MORE
