Dilbert

Dilbert is an award-winning animated series produced by Columbia TriStar Television for UPN. The series follows the everyday lives of the main character, Dilbert, and his co-workers through their boring office workdays. Dilbert is an awkward yet intelligent engineer who lives with his sinister pet, Dogbert, and spends most of his time at the office or trying to invent new gadgets. Though he doesn't have many friends, Dilbert is often seen interacting with Wally, his apathetic co-worker, and Alice, the hardworking engineer who rarely receives credit for her efforts. The office manager, Pointy-Haired Boss, is the show's antagonist, and Dilbert tries to avoid him as much as possible, due to his incompetence and adoration of micromanagement. The Dilbert television show is a spin-off of a cartoon strip by the same name, which was created in 1989 by Scott Adams. The series premiered on January 25, 1999, and aired for two seasons on UPN. Though the show was short lived, it won a Golden Globe before its cancellation. MORE
