Deadliest Catch

Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch documents the dangerous world of Alaskan crab fishing, with the crews putting their life on the line in the Bering Sea in search of the valuable King Crab. The show follows eight to ten fishing boats as they struggle against the dangerous storms, rough waters, and feuds within the crew and between rival crews. It all comes down to who can get the biggest haul of the expensive crabs during the season and make their dangerous journey worth it. One of the most dangerous jobs, the fatality rate during the crab season is one death a week, and almost all of the crew sustains injuries.
