DEA is a reality television series from Spike TV that follows a squad of DEA Special Agents and Task Force Officers. The dangerous world of illegal drugs and the criminal activity that accompanies requires a special type of fearless police officer to patrol. Follow these men and women as they risk their lives every day in the ongoing war against illegal drugs. The series follows the officers as they make drug busts on houses suspected of selling, producing, or trafficking drugs, making arrests ranging from street level dealers to international drug traffickers. DEA is a behind-the-scenes look at what it is like for Agents to go out on undercover missions and pose as drug dealers, bust down doors and execute high-risk drug raids. The series also illustrates the unique relationship DEA officers have with informants, their ears and eyes in “the game”. The first season of the show was filmed in Detroit, Michigan, while the second season was set in the New York/New Jersey area.
