Dancelife

DanceLife is a reality show featured on MTV. The show was first aired in 2007, and was created by Jennifer Lopez. Dancelife tells the stories of seven prospective dancers in Los Angeles. The show begins with Lopez choosing candidates for the show, based on their dancing and their personality. The cast members fight for fame and for Lopez's attention while also struggling with personal problems and situations. Cast members range from those who have little dance experience to those who have more dancing ability. The show follows them as they audition for dancing parts and struggle through the ups and downs of their searches for fame. The show gives the dancers opportunities to work with huge stars like Mary J. Blige and Nelly Furtado. Many of the cast members go on to pursue many more opportunities in dance.
