Crusoe is an adventure drama series from NBC starring Philip Winchester, Tongayi Chirisa, Joaquim de Almedia, Mia Maestro, Sam Neill, Anna Walton, and Sean Bean. The series revolves around the legendary adventurer Robinson Crusoe (Philip Winchester), who was shipwrecked on a remote tropical island and is desperately trying to return to his family in England. He rescues and befriends a tribesman named Friday (Tongayi Chirisa), a smart and skilled companion who helps Crusoe on his journey of survival from militias, cannibals, deadly weather, starvation, and wild predators. As the story unfolds, the relationship between Crusoe and his wife Susannah (Anna Walton), as well as his relationship with his mysterious mentor Jeremiah Blackthorn (Sam Neill), are portrayed.
