Cooking For Real from Food Network is a down-to-earth cooking show featuring easy-to-prepare meals made special with diverse and unexpected flavors. The show's host, Sunny Anderson, demonstrates how to cook uncomplicated dishes using ingredients that are both easy to find and easy to afford. Anderson's passion is for taking the classic "comfort" dishes and re-working them into delicious and flavorful meals. The first episode of the series premiered in 2008 and featured the food of New Orleans. In this show, Anderson showed viewers how to make "Shrimp Pot Pies" prepared in edible puff pastry bowls.
