Confessions of a Teen Idol is a reality series on VH1 hosted and produced by Scott Baio and Jason Hervey. After giving his own career a fresh start with the other popular VH1 shows, Scott Baio is 45...and Single and Scott Baio is 46...and Pregnant, Scott Baio sets out to help other teen celebrities who have lost sight of their professional aspirations. He brings seven former teen idols together to live in a house and hopes to help them reinvent their careers. The show only ran for one season, and the contestants that year included Christopher Atkins, David Chokachi, Billy Hufsey, Jeremy Jackson, Eric Niles, Jamie Walters, and Adrian Zmed. All seven men were once teen idols and wish to regain the career it looked like they might have when they were young. These teen idols have to look deeply into their past decisions and mistakes to figure out where their downfalls began. Each episode will allow the contestants to explore their own lives and the fame that they desire. Although all of the men fell out of the spotlight for various reasons, they will all travel back toward it together, helping each other along the way.
