Cold Case

Cold Case is the CBS drama about Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris), a dedicated female detective who works for the Philadelphia Police department division that specializes in investigating "cold cases", crimes that have never been solved. Previously she used her expertise and understanding of criminals to crack current cases, but now the experience detective is determined to take on the challenge of reopening these unsolved cases, interrogating witnesses to old crimes, using new technology which didn't exist at the time of the crime, and finding fresh clues. There are risks in her new line of work, one of which that it will open up old wounds, and could possibly lead suspects to commit new crimes. Accompanying her are her confident and strong-willed partner Detective Will Jeffries (Thom Barry), and the tough no-nonsense Detective Nick Vera (Jeremy Ratchford). Lilly's mentor is Lieutenant John Stillman (John Finn), who she confides in and seeks advice from.
