Cheap Seats is an American sports themed comedy television series that aired on ESPN Classic from 2004 to 2006 hosted by Randy and Jason Sklar. The show featured the Sklar brothers as two workers of the ESPN tape library and would present clips from old televised sporting events while inserting their trademark witty comments over them. Clips used were from Wide World of Sports, professional wrestling, celebrity sporting events, spelling bees, and more. In addition to making fun of people in the past, Cheap Seats also featured several segments between clips. Some segments included and award show called "The Cheapies", a trivia segment entitled "Do You Care?", and "Breakdown" which featured ESPN analyst Sean Salisbury in a comedic self-parody role. The show featured cameos by many comedians like Michael Showalter, Zach Galifianakis, Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt, and Ed Helms. The show experimented with live audiences and laugh tracks and had two specials: Sportscentury: Cheap Seats, and Utilityman - The Quest For Cooperstown.MORE
