Celebrity Paranormal Project, often abbreviated as CPP), is a reality television series that takes celebrities on paranormal investigations. The show originally aired on VH1 for one season. Each episode features five celebrity contestants who are taken to sites known for their paranormal activity. After a brief history lesson on the site, as well as information on the paranormal activity claimed to have occurred at the site, paranormal specialists give the contestants special equipment to help them document any paranormal activity. The contestants are left at the site overnight and, with special equipment, are tasked to document paranormal activity. A partnered duo from the group explore the site while the rest of team sets up a surveillance headquarters where they help guide the duo throughout the site. The duo attempt to recreate the paranormal activity in the site during a certain amount of time.
