Celebrity Circus

Celebrity Circus was a reality show airing on NBC that starred celebrities Christoper Knight, Antonio Sabato, Jr., Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Janet Evans, Rachel Hunter, Stacey Dash, and Blu Cantrell. Hosted by former *NSYNC boy band member Joey Fatone, the show revolved around these celebrities training to perform various circus acts and high-risk stunts in a head-to-head battle for the title of champion of the celebrity Big Top. Celebrity Circus followed experts in tricks like High Wire, Fire Dancing, Flying Trapeze, Chinese Poles, and the Wheel of Death as they trained the stars to perform the routine in front of a live audience. Olympic gymnast Mitch Gaylord, contortionist Aurelia Cats, and choreography Louie Spence split their votes with the votes of the American public to decide who would move on to the next round. Celebrity Circus premiered in 2008 but lasted only one season until it was canceled by NBC. MORE
