Cars Toons

Cars Toons is an ongoing series of animated short films based on the Pixar film Cars. Characters in the films always include Mater (Larry The Cable Guy), Lightning McQueen (Keith Ferguson), Mia and Tia, and various members of Lightning's pit crew. All Cars Toons show Mater telling Lightning a story of a past experience where he finds himself in some outlandishly absurd predicament. When questioned by Lightning how it could possibly have happened, Mater always responds by saying "Don't you remember? You was there too!" The action then shifts back to Mater's story, with Lightning suddenly appearing in the action. Near the end of the films, Mater always drives away following another character who makes a verbal reference to the action of the story, leaving Lightning to wonder if the story is real or not. Episodes include Rescue Squad Mater, El Materdor, Mater the Greater, (U.F.M.) Unidentified Flying Mater, Tokyo Mater, Monster Truck Mater, Heavy Metal Mater, Moon Mater and Mater Private Eye. Episodes of Cars Toons have appeared in the Pixar special Pixar Short Films. MORE
