Captured is an enthralling crime-solving series about real-life murders, assaults and disappearances and the woman who, with relentless determination, resolves to find the victim's killer or attacker. The female lead character in each episode of Captured, which airs on Oxygen, has a direct connection to the victim. The victim may have been her mother, sister, daughter, friend or husband or she herself may have been the victim. As each episode unfolds, the viewer follows an emotional re-enactment of the crime. In some cases the victim knew their attacker. Eyewitness testimony, which is a crucial part of any investigation, comes to light as well as footage from the courtroom.
