Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons is the classic 1960s Supermarionation (puppet) series created by Gerry Anderson and Century 21 Productions in the UK. Set in the distant future, it follows the Earth security organization, Spectrum, as it heads an expedition to Mars in 2068. When they land and accidentally destroy the Mysteron base after mistaking a sensor for a weapon, the Mysterons believe that this an attack from Earth. They capture the Spectrum operatives, Captain Black and Scarlet and give them the power to retro-metabolise, or recreate themselves, even after death. Captain Scarlet is shot and falls to his death, but resurrects with his original personality and stays loyal to his friends at Spectrum, and Captain Black continues as the agent of the Mysterons in the battle against Earth. Can the indestructible Captain Scarlet and his partner Captain Blue, with the help of their other friends on Cloudbase, prevent the dastardly schemes of the Mysterons and Captain Black and keep the Earth safe from attack?
