Captain Gallant of the Foreign Legion

Captain Gallant of the Foreign Legion is a television series from the 1950s with the feel of an old western. Although originally intended for kids, this television series eventually grew to be popular among adults. A black-and-white classic with an adventurous look and feel, Captain Gallant of the Foreign Legion is sure to deliver a blast from the past. The series consisted of 65 episodes and was originally filmed on location in Morocco. The production was later moved to Italy for the safety of the cast and crew. The main character Captain Michael Gallant (Buster Crabbe) is a man trying to raise his son Cuffy Sanders (Cullen Crabbe), while struggling to keep the peace in a foreign land. Bandits, battles and mayhem aside, this series also offers a bit of comic relief from Captain Gallant's sidekick Private Funny Knight (Fuzzy Knight).
