Can't Get A Date

Can’t Get A Date is a documentary-style reality show on VH1 and Logo. In the show, various date-deficient New York City men and women, each with their own hang-ups that get in the way of getting some—romance, that is, are guided through a series of physical, emotional, and behavioral transformations by an anonymous host (Stefan Springman) with the ultimate goal of becoming more dateable. The individuals learn the intricacies of general coed socialization, flirting, and dating to make them more attractive from inside. Since much of what leads people to begin flirting is exterior attractiveness, however, the participants are also given make-over tips to help them attract potential dates from both outside and inside. Part make-over show and part dating show, Can’t Get A Date is a humorous look at some of the more interesting products of our less directly-social, more technologically-dependent society and is also a more family-friendly dating show than many others.
