Camp Lazlo

Camp Lazlo is an animated kid's television program on the Cartoon Network. The show is about Bean Scout Lazlo (Carlos Alazraqui), a happy-go-lucky Brazilian spider monkey with hippie-tendencies. Along with his bunkmates, the neurotic Indian elephant, Raj (Jeff Bennett), and the little albino pygmy rhinoceros, Clam (Carlos Alazraqui), Lazlo wreaks havoc upon the otherwise well-structured summer camp that he attends. With Raj's multiple disorders, including a cleaning compulsion and several phobias, and Clam's hidden musical genius, things get entertaining quickly. Add to that a sadistic platypus, Edward (Doug Lawrence), a whiny guinea pig, Samson (Jeff Bennett), and a moose with an overblown ego and too much power, Lumpus (Tom Kenny). Oh, and do not forget the Squirrel Scouts Patsy (Jodi Benson), a mongoose with pink hair and a big, unreciprocated crush on Lazlo, and Gretchen (Jill Talley), an aggressive alligator with blond hair and a grudge against Bean Scouts. Then it is no surprise that each two-part episode of the show attracted a large audience, resulting in a three year run for the series. Camp Lazlo has also won several awards, including three Emmys.
