bro' Town is the first New Zealand comedy animated series geared specifically towards young adults. The show was created by members of the popular New Zealand comedy group The Naked Samoans and is loosely based on their own life stories. In the show, five teenagers including Vale Pepelo (Oscar Kightley), his brother, Valea Pepelo (Shimpal Lelisi), Sione Tapili (Morio Gaoa), Jeff de Maori (David Fane) and Rodney "Mack" MacCorkenstein-Taifule, (Dave Fane), are trying their best to survive life in the suburb of Morningside. They all go the St. Sylvester's school, where Brother Ken (Dave Fane) is the principal. They seem like typical teenage boys getting into trouble, trying to impress the girls and enjoying everything about school except learning, but life is not always so great for them. They are faced with discrimination and must overcome the stereotypes the people put on them. The show is full of satirical theories and puts a humorous spin on some of the trials the creators actually dealt with growing up. MORE
