Brothers was a sitcom from FOX that starred Michael Strahan, Daryl Mitchell, Carl Weathers, and C.C.H. Pounder. The series revolves around retired NFL player Mike Trainor, played by real-life retired NFL star Michael Strahan. Mike’s life changes when his manager cons him out of money and he is forced to return to his parents’ Houston home, which, ironically, he bought for them. His wheelchair-bound brother, Chill Trainor (Daryl Mitchell), was injured in a car crash and has always clashed personalities with his brother. Chill owns a restaurant, Trainor’s, which is in financial trouble. Mike’s parents (Carl Weathers and C.C.H. Pounder) are frustrated with their new houseguests and force the brothers to solve their childhood rivalry, which has grown even stronger after their prolonged separation. The series had several notable guest stars, including Snoop Dogg, Arsenio Hall, Kevin Nash, and Mike Tyson. Brothers ran for thirteen episodes on FOX before being cancelled in 2009.MORE
