Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It is a reality television show documenting the life of rocker Bret Michaels and his family. A follow up to his hit show Rock of Love, the show premiered a week after Michaels was named winner of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice 3. Michaels' first single off of his newest album is featured as the theme song for the show. Many of the episodes chronicle the difficulties of raising a family while traveling the world with a band. Occasionally Michaels is able to take his wife Kristi and their two kids on the road with him, but otherwise he finds himself struggling to understand how to be a good parent while thousands of miles away from his children. In the ninth and final episode of the first season, Michaels proposes to his long-time girlfriend and mother of his children, Kristi Gibson. The show was put on hold after the taping of the first season to enable Michaels time to recover from his health problems.MORE
