Blade: The Series is an action horror TV series developed by Spike based on the Marvel Comics half-vampire, half-human hybrid, Blade, as the Daywalker (Kirk “Sticky Fingaz” Jones) works with a former soldier, Krista (Jill Wagner), to take down the vampire world, specifically the House of Chthon, an elitist house of the Vampire Nation. When Krista returned from Iraq to find her twin brother killed, she falls into the underbelly of the vampire world – a place where her brother was working as a familiar for a high-ranking powerful vampire, Marcus Van Sciver (Neil Jackson), in the hopes of being turned. Secretive and intelligent, Marcus has been tasked to find a cure to the undead weaknesses of garlic, sunlight, and silver.
