Bindi The Jungle Girl

Bindi the Jungle Girl is a Discovery Kids children's nature program starring Bindi Irwin, the daughter of famed Australian environmentalists Steve and Terri Irwin. Now with her very own show, Bindi wants to follow in her parents' footsteps and explore the world of nature. Bindi leads the viewer on a tour of the world's exotic wilderness and introduces a wide variety of animals. On one episode, Bindi ventures into Africa to get to know the king of the jungle, the lion. In another episode, her dad Steve takes her to Antarctica, the coldest part of the world, to see how the animals there survive the extreme conditions. Bindi also helps promote awareness of endangered species, and devotes entire episodes to the plight of the whales and other victims of human over-harvesting and poaching. Sometimes Bindi just wants to have some fun in her tree house, counting down lists of her favorite animals.
