Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures is an animated television series that aired in 1990 stemming from the popularity of the film of the same name. The show continued the adventures of Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted "Theodore" Logan as they traveled forward and backward through time in their trademark phone booth. Stars of the film Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter reprised their roles and voiced their characters on the animated series. George Carlin also voiced Rufus, Bill & Ted's guide through the space time continuum. The Wyld Stallyns themselves visit historic moments like the launch of the Ford Model T, Babe Ruth's reign atop baseball, the birth of rock n' roll music, and Christopher Columbus' discovery of America. Later in the series, Bill & Ted's phone book gained the ability to travel inside of books, movies, and television shows as well as travel through time. Bill & Ted make use of this new feature by entering Grimm fairy tales and Mark Twain stories.MORE
