Best Week Ever

Best Week Ever, hosted in its later seasons by legendary comedian Paul F. Tompkins, was a weekly VH1 show that explores the comedic implications of the past week’s events. Following the success of VH1 miniseries “I love the 80’s”, “I love the 90’s”, and “I love the 70’s”, “Best Week Ever” originally consisted of a series of pop-culture clips followed by reactions from a variety of guests. Featured comedians included Chuck Nice, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer, Melissa Rauch, Doug Benson, Nick Kroll, and Jessica St. Clair, a who’s who of the NY/LA alternative comedy scene. In 2008, four years into the show’s run, the format was redesigned. “Best week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins” was a more traditional panel show. Paul F. Tompkins stood behind a podium, explaining the weeks events and throwing to celebrity comedians. The new format didn’t resonate with the public, and the show was cancelled shortly after. MORE
