Ben 10: Ultimate Alien is an animated science fiction TV series created by "Man of Action", a group compose of comic book writers, for Cartoon Network, which is set barely a few weeks after its precursor series, Ben 10: Alien Force, as the now sixteen-year-old Ben Tennyson has to deal with an evolution of sorts in his on-going power struggles of the Omnitrix, a powerful watch-like device that allows Ben to transform into any of the stored alien species The Omnitrix had been destroyed but now Ben has the Ultimatrix to take its place. The Ultimatrix is newer, stronger, and far more dangerous as this gauntlet-like device not only lets him transform but also lets him jumpstart to a stronger version of his alien forms. It has been over six years since Ben's life first turned upside down but now it gets even worse when his secret identity is exposed to the world. Kids idolize him while adults fear him as a threat. Thankfully though as new alien villains such as Agreggor, an matter and energy absorbing being, threaten the galaxy, Ben is helped out by his sarcastic but magically powerful cousin Gwen, his former interstellar police officer of a grandfather, Max, and a troublemaker of a half-breed Kevin, who is learning to strengthen his own energy absorbing powers.
