Being Terry Kennedy

Being Terry Kennedy is the BET reality series that follows the life of one of skateboarding's biggest stars, Terry Kennedy. Also known as TK and Compton Ass Terry, Kennedy grew up in Long Beach, skating the dangerous streets of Los Angeles. In 2005, Terry was shot, once in the jaw and once in the arm while leaving a party, and vowed to turn his life around. Terry took his board and rode it all the way to the top, landing huge sponsorships with Baker, Supra, Boost Mobile, Krew, Venture, and more. Terry became a household name from his appearances on Bam Margera's show Viva La Bam, also landing cameos in Snoop Dogg videos and other TV shows. That wasn't enough for TK, and he took on the video game world in the Skate series as well as a rap career of his own. Now one of the most successful African-American skaters is after his own TV, with BET following his life for his own reality show.
