Beavis and Butt-Head

Beavis and Butt-Head is an animated series created by Mike Judge that aired on MTV between 1993 and 1997. The series follows two intellectually-challenged teenage boys who spend their days in front of the television eating nachos and trying to hurt each other. They occasionally attend high school in the fictional town of Highland, where the pair seemingly learns nothing while trying to pick up "hot chicks." Aside from babes, fast-food, and picking their noses, Beavis and Butt-Head's main interest is watching music videos from the couch. Sometimes, after consuming too much caffeine, Beavis will turn into his alter-ego "Cornholio," searching for "tp for his bunghole" with his Metallica shirt pulled over his head. Segments from real music videos are shown between animated clips, with stupid yet hilarious commentary provided by the boys. The show, though hated by many parents and conservative groups, continues to be wildly popular amongst the MTV generation of the 1990s. A spinoff of Beavis and Butt-Head called "Daria" (created by Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn) premiered on MTV in 1997, following an awkward brainiac who was a classmate of Beavis and Butt-Head.
