Battle Dome is a sports television series that originally ran from 1999 to 2001 in syndication. Battle Dome was a scripted athletic competition similar to American Gladiators. The cast of warriors enters the Battle Dome and competes in various events to earn the Battledome Belt. The warrior with the Battledome Belt would be placed automatically at the top of the rankings, with the rest of the warriors being ranked by an anonymous Chairman. The Chairman's instructions would be conveyed to the warriors by his secretary Bobbie Haven (Bobbie Brown). Some of the warriors included T-Money (Terry Crews), The Commander (Christian Boeving), Bubba King (Timothy Elwell), Mad Dog Steele (Stefan Gamlin), and others. The events the warriors competed in were often times ridiculous like the Rollercage of Fire in which warriors were placed in a horizontal cylindrical tube surrounded by fire and forced to make another warrior fall through one of the holes places in the cylinder. In addition to the events, there were backstage segments in which plots would be moved forward much like professional wrestling. Battle Dome extended into the world of professional wrestling briefly in 2000 when the Battle Dome warriors appeared on WCW Monday Nitro.MORE
