BATHtastic!, hosted by licensed contractor Matt Muenster, is the DIY network's bathroom focused remodeling show. Produced for an audience that is perhaps not used to remodeling without the help of a commercial contractor, BATHtastic! is a step-by-step guide to fixing and updating various parts of the typical home bathroom. Highlighting new materials and new methods for using these materials, Muenster demonstrates the simplicity of bathroom remodeling on a limited budget and time frame. With a strong focus on environmentally friendly materials, each episode discusses the difficulties in DIY remodels and easy ways to work around tricky spots. Viewer submissions are accepted into the applicant pool, from which the producers choose bathrooms that lend themselves to the theme of the show and the DIY style. The production company then pays for the remodel while Muenster and his camera team document every step along the way. Now in it's fourth season, BATHtastic!
