BASToF Syndrome is an animated action adventure series directed by Jon Ho Chung and Jong-Sik Nam that centers on the distant future in the year 2097 A.D. where a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) game has been developed, allowing players to fight against each other in a virtual reality world with cyber robots. When a glitch starts causing the real world and the cyber world to blend, the game's damage begins to actual happen on the city of Xenon. In order to put a stop to this hack and potential catastrophe, a dream team comprised of the top three players of the game - a rebellious rich girl Mint, a pretty boy Bebefau, and the punk deviant Pseudo - is sent out to find why this virtual world is not so virtual anymore.
