Barrett-Jackson: The Auctions are televised episodes chronicling the Barrett-Jackson Collectible Car Auctions at one of their four locations, being from Scottsdale, Arizona; Palm Beach, Florida; Orange County, California; or Las Vegas, Nevada. The Barrett-Jackson company, which was founded in 1971 and is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, is best known for what they provide to classic and collector car owners, collectors, and enthusiasts. Their four major auctions are known as the "World's Greatest Collector Car Events". While it's labeled as a collector car auction, a variety of items are sold on the auction block; including trucks, motorcycles, airplanes, boats, rock 'n' roll memorabilia, and engines, among other items. The Barrett-Jackson auctions have also become a usual location for automobile manufacturers to sell their first production vehicles of certain model and generation combinations. What has also become a staple of these events is the auctioning of items with the lone motivation of making money for charity.MORE
