Bakugan

Bakugan Battle Brawlers is an action adventure anime series airing on Cartoon Network and originating in Japan that has found enormous popularity in the United States and Canada. The story is set in the parallel world of Vestroia, where powerful metallic cards fell from the sky to Dan and his group of friends, who declare themselves the Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The Bakugan are small marble magnetic spheres, which, when placed on the right cards, transform into mighty warriors. In the series, one powerful Bakugan named Naga chooses to absorb the energy that preserves the balance and peace in the land of Vestroia. Dan and his friends must battle Naga, as well as the villains Hal-G and Masquerade, in order to save Vestroia and the universe as a whole. The airing of the television series Bakugan Battle Brawlers was paralleled by a launch of the hugely popular toy line, which features the small sphere figures of the Bakugan and the cards that accompany them. Bakugan Battle Brawlers is unique in that the series initially failed in Japan, but became a phenomenon when aired on Cartoon Network in the United States. MORE
