Bad Girls

Bad Girls was a British television drama series that aired for eight seasons on ITV from 1999 to 2006. The show was set in the Larkhall Women's Prison and followed the lives of the female prisoners in their everyday lives behind the bars of the G-wing. The show was known for its shockingly realistic on screen moments like a woman miscarrying a baby in her cell and stabbing people with broken bottles. The show was a vivid, fictional interpretation of how woman ended up in prison and subsequently the trials and tribulations that had to go through on a daily basis with fellow prisoners and prison staff. The show was met with great acceptance and seasons 1 and 2 were released in November 2010 on Blu-Ray and DVD. Series 3 and 4 are slated to be released on Blu-Ray and DVD in the first quarter of 2011, with subsequent series coming a few months after. MORE
