Astro Boy (2004)

Astro Boy is an animated action adventure series developed as a remake to the Osamu Tezuka series of the same name from the 1960s that follows the adventures of Astro Boy, a young robot originally built to act as a replacement child for the Ministry of Science head, Dr. Tenma. When Tenma flees the Ministry, Dr. O'Shay takes in Astro and creates a family for him, letting him truly become a relatively normal boy. Of course, he is no ordinary boy considering he possesses super strength, jet-rocket feet and arms, and the most advanced artificial brain in the world. Though machine, he experiences emotions as a human, which helps him as he cleverly faces off against the ambush of rebellious and destructive robots, led by Dr. Tenma and the Blue Knight. He's helped along the way by Epsilon, a weather-controlling and deeply compassionate robot, and Zoran, Astro's overemotional robotic sister. Though reanimated after forty years since its initial premiere, Astro Boy keeps the same classic art style though with more lush and high-quality graphics that it was famous for in the 60s. MORE
