Armed & Famous

Armed and Famous is a reality television show that aired on CBS following a group of celebrities through police academy training and onto the streets as working police officers in the town of Muncie, Indiana. We see the five celebrities go through police training and eventually graduate to the force. The celebs are then paired with veteran officers and sent out on patrol. Notable scenes from the series include arresting an elderly drug dealer who has been a long time fan of Erik Estrada, taking part in a prostitution sting, and finding a man who died of natural causes in his apartment. The show almost made news when cast member Erik Estrada got into a obscenity-laced verbal argument in an ambulance with a man who had just been stabbed in the leg. The cast is made up of former ChiPs star Estrada, La Toya Jackson, former WWE star Trish Stratus, and reality show veterans Jack Osbourne from The Osbournes and Jason “Wee Man” Acuna of Jackass fame.
