Andy Barker, P.I. is an NBC detective sitcom created by Conan O'Brien and Jonathan Groff, starring Andy Richter as the unlikely accountant-turned-detective Andy Barker. Barker has just established himself as an independent accountant with his own private office in a strip mall. Things start normally. He becomes friends with Simon (Tony Hale), the eccentric video store owner downstairs. They eat lunch at the Afghan restaurant across the parking lot and meet the owner there, Wally (Marshall Manesh). Then, a beautiful Russian woman walks into Barker's office and gives him an envelope full of money and a picture of her missing husband. Realizing his new office used to be the headquarters for a private investigator, Andy Barker now has the chance to lead a double life, filled with mystery, suspense, and occasionally some number crunching. Andy Barker, P.I. was Andy Richter's first show after leaving Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where he'd been Conan's sidekick for years. MORE
