Bizarre World is a reality-based television show that follows Andrew Zimmern as he travels the world to not only experience new and exotic foods but cultures. Throughout the show, Andrew Zimmern travels across continents meeting new people and indulging in new places and cultures not only through their food but through their customs, language, practices, histories and rituals. In one episode, Zimmern travels to Turkey where he watches an oil wrestling event, a sport hugely popular in the country. In Istanbul he is treated to a show of male belly dancers before checking out the countryside and relaxing in a mud bath. In another episode he travels to Botswana and is introduced to one of the few remaining hunter-gather tribes who take him in as one of their community. Back in Germany, Zimmern eats authentic German cuisine, while partaking in a body-painting festival. Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre World lasted for one season with nine episodes in total.MORE
