America's Psychic Challenge

America's Psychic Challenge is a reality competition where 16 individuals enter a competition to find out who qualifies as the country's number-one psychic. Contestants include Jackie Barret, a New Orleans spiritualist who has assisted police with cold-case files; Jamie Clark, a psychic medium who gives personal readings and seminars; Karyin Reese, a corporate-oriented professional psychic who is able to read people through the use of spirits; and Zenobia Simmons, an emerging psychic who hasn't quit her day job. The show pits these psychics against each other through a series of tests that test their clairvoyant abilities. In one episode, the psychics must find a man hidden in a hospital using nothing but their "sixth sense." In others, psychics do readings for other people without knowledge of their identity and accurately uncover details about a murder scene. If they are successful in their predictions, they are awarded points. The two with the fewest points at the end of each episode are eliminated while others advance to the next round and another chance at becoming America's top psychic. MORE
