Amazing Stories is the NBC science fiction anthology show created by Steven Spielberg that picked up where The Twilight Zone left off Amazing Stories is a collection of self-contained short tales of the amazing, supernatural stories that pushes the boundaries of the believable. Episodes included Miss Stardust, where a beauty pageant has to allow an alien into their Miss Galaxy contest; Blue Man Down, where a police officer gets a new partner that turns out to be a ghost; The Wedding Ring, where a wax museum dresser steals a ring from a statue, only to have it transform his wife to an evil femme fatale; The Family Dog, where events are shown from a dogs point of view; and Mirror Mirror, directed by Martin Scorsese. With Spielberg directing the first episode called Ghost Train, the rest of the series featured great directors like Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, and Danny DeVito. The actors also features some big guest appearances from Kevin Costner, Keifer Sutherland, Gregory Hines, Anthony LaPaglia and many other stars.
