All That

All That was a sketch-comedy, variety show starring teenagers and targeting a pre-teen audience. All That ran for 10 seasons, from 1994 through 2005, and aired on the Nickelodeon cable network. The show morphed over the years, and the first six seasons are commonly known as the Golden Era by fans, because those seasons are generally respected more. The cast members changed over the years, but notable players were Keenan Thompson (who later went on to Saturday Night Live), Nick Cannon (star of the 2002 hit movie Drumline), and Amanda Bynes (lead actress in the 2006 film She's the Man). The musical guests in the first three seasons were primarily urban artists (Coolio, TLC, Brandy), but the show later included more pop performers (Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Celine Dion). Recurring sketches included "Good Burger, " featuring a bumbling fast-food cashier (the basis of a 1997 movie of the same name), and "The Loud Librarian, " about a librarian who comically makes as much noise as possible.
