All In The Family is a classic TV sitcom, set in Astoria, Queens in New York City. It aired from January 12, 1971 to April 8, 1979. The show's main character is World War Two veteran Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor). Often considered arrogant, Archie does not like anyone who does not agree with his point of view. He is most known for "blowing a raspberry." On the other hand, his wife Edith (Jean Stapleton) is a nice and understanding woman, though at times she can be na''ve. Although they are completely opposite, Archie and Edith love each other dearly. The couple has one child, Gloria (Sally Struthers). Gloria is married to college student Michael Stivic (Rob Reiner). Michael and Archie disagree on most subjects, causing them to constantly argue. To save money, The Stivics live in the Bunkers' home for most of the series.
