Airwolf is a classic CBS action television series, created by Donald P. Bellisario and starring Jan-Michael Vincent, Ernest Borgnine, Alex Cord, and Jean Bruce Scott. Vincent plays Stringfellow Hawke, a reclusive former test pilot living alone in a cabin in California. When Airwolf, an advanced supersonic helicopter, gets stolen by its creator, a mysterious CIA organization called the FIRM enlists Hawke to recover the priceless weapon. Hawke refuses, but his valuable expertise as the Airwolf test pilot leads the FIRM to blackmail Hawke into cooperation. Now Hawke and his friends have to steal back Airwolf from its evil creator, while outsmarting the FIRM at the same time. Airwolf is the most advanced aircraft ever conceived. It's the perfect spy vehicle: a heavily armed and armored helicopter capable of traveling at super-sonic speeds that to the naked eye appears to be a normal helicopter.
