Ah! My Goddess, also known as Oh My Goddess!, is a cartoon that originally aired on WOWOW from 1998 to 1999. The television series is based on a popular Japanese seinen manga series by K_suke Fujishama. In Ah! My Goddess, Keiichi Morisato (Drew Aaron) is a super-intelligent college freshman who is not quite as good at the social scene as he is in the academic sphere. Bullied by the older kids and ignored by the female students, Keiichi really could use a friend. Luckily for him, he accidentally calls the Goddess Technical Help Line and a gorgeous goddess, Bellandy (Eileen Stevens), appears to grant him one wish. He wishes for her to stay with him forever, thinking that it is a practical joke, but when she actually does stay, the two are forced out of his single-sex dormitory. They seek shelter in a Buddhist temple and that is when their crazy adventures really begin! Ah!
