The Agatha Christie Hour

The Agatha Christie Hour is a ten-episode series based on ten obscure stories of critically acclaimed mystery writer Agatha Christie. Included in the series are: The Case of the Middle-Aged Wife, In a Glass Darkly, The Girl in the Train, The Fourth Man, The Case Of The Discontented Soldier, Magnolia Blossom, The Mystery of the Blue Jar, The Red Signal, Jane in Search of a Job, and The Manhood Of Edward Robinson. Noteworthy about this BBC series is that most of the stories are not murder mysteries, the genre for which Agatha Christie is renown. Unexpectedly, these tales feature lesser known Christie protagonists and recurring characters. They also include themes not typical of Agatha Christie's popular work, such as romance and comedy.
