Adult Swim News is a fake Japanese news program that uses CGI (computer generated imaging) to duplicate western news stories with a humorous and often insulting and sarcastic twist. The ideas for the Adult Swim News video segment might have come from a real news story, but the original story has been bent and twisted so out of proportion that it currently only faintly resembles the story it is making jest of. In fact, the liberal changes to the story's content, coupled with the fact that the segments are aired without translation (that is, in Japanese. No worries to all those english only speakers though, it is aired with english subtitles.), makes this news segment hardly worthy of being called "news" at all. But then, this is Adult Swim and as anyone who's familiar with them knows, they're certainly no stranger to tongue-in-cheek programming.
