90210, a teen drama on the CW, is a new and modern take on the story that made Beverly Hills 90210 so popular in the 90s: a family moves from the middle of the country to the glitz and glam of the world's most famous zip code. This time around, the story focuses on the Wilson family, who move from Kansas to California so that father Harry Wilson (Rob Estes) can keep an eye on his alcoholic mother, Tabitha Wilson (Jessica Walter) and take a job as principal of West Beverly Hills High, the same school from the original Beverly Hills 90210 series. Harry brings his wife Debbie Wilson (Lori Loughlin), daughter Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes), and adopted son Dixon Wilson (Tristan Wilds) with him to Beverly Hills. While Harry and Debbie adjust to life in Harry's old hometown, Annie and Dixon must come to terms with what it means to be a teenager in California. The siblings fall in love, get their hearts broken, and struggle to remain loyal to their new friends under the pressures of the Hollywood lifestyle. Like its predecessor, 90210 deals with all kinds of hot topics, ranging from drug addiction, to teen sex, to mental breakdowns, and everything in between. 90210 features special guests from the original series, including Shannen Doherty as Brenda Walsh, Tori Spelling as Donna Martin, Ann Gillespie as Jackie Taylor, and Jennie Garth, who has a recurring role on the new series, as Kelly Taylor. 90210 was created by Rob Thomas, and it is the fourth show to spin-off from Darren Star's original Beverly Hills 90210 vision.
