9 by Design

9 By Design is a pop-culture reality/documentary show on the Bravo TV Network. The show chronicles the business and personal lives of the Novogratz family in New York City. Bob Novogratz and his wife Cortney are the owners of Sixx Design. They design homes and commercial spaces in and around Manhattan. Their style is modern and quirky with lots of unique accents. The first twist is that they are parents to seven children, and hence the name 9 By Design. Two parents plus seven children. The oldest is Wolfgang, who is twelve. Next are the first set of twins, Tallulah and Bellamy, who are ten. Then there is Breaker who is eight and the second set of twins Holleder and Five, who are four. The seventh is Major, who is born during the series. The children provide backdrop, storyline and complexity to every episode. Things like the girls are growing up and need cell phones. The design team is traveling and needs a full time nanny. The second twist is that they are always pressed for time and budget and must overcome great odds to complete the project. They must deal with the city, contractors, and owners. The third twist is that they design their own homes, and their creations are so cool that people offer to buy them, which keeps them on the move as they hurry to complete their next home as they sell their current one. Throughout all of this, the Nine By Design cast keeps us entertained with lots of chaos, love and good humor. MORE
