64 Zoo Lane

64 Zoo Lane is a British cartoon series about a 7 year old girl, Lucy (Ciara Jansen), who lives next door to the zoo. Every night an animal from the zoo tells her a story. Stories focus on moral behavior and feature such topics as friendship and responsibility. Stars of the show include Georgina the Giraffe (Adrienne Posta), Nelson the Elephant (Keith Wickham), Boris the Bear (Lewis McLeod) and Molly the Hippopotamus (Anna Bentinck.) The television show ran both in the United States and the United Kingdon. The US version features an American voice actress (Ciara Jansen) while the British version features British voice actress Alice Hearing. In both versions, the animals speak with British accents. There is even a Scottish Gaelic version of the show called Rathad an Sutha, complete with a Gaelic theme song.
